Rifat Sungkar’s BMW M3 E30: From the Rally Stage to IMX

One of Belkote’s main attractions at IMX 2026 was Rifat Sungkar’s BMW M3 E30. The car had competed in the 2026 National Sprint Rally Championship before making its appearance on the IMX stage.

Featuring Alpineweiss 3 paint with color code 300 and a finish achieved using Belkote products, the car represented the concept of “From Rally Stage to IMX Stage.” Its presence showcased how a vehicle can carry a long story, from preparation and overcoming challenges on the rally stage to receiving appreciation from modification enthusiasts.

Belkote also hosted a meet-and-greet session with Rifat Sungkar, Subhan Aksa, Jeje Logy, and Kingston. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the drivers’ experiences, including Kingston’s journey from drifting to rally racing.

Ziko and KUHL Racing Collaboration Brings the Toyota 86/BRZ to IMX

Modification creativity was also showcased through Belkote’s collaboration with Ziko and Japan’s KUHL Racing. The Toyota 86/BRZ project, featuring a rally-inspired look, combined the distinctive character of Japanese automotive modification with a creative approach that resonates with Indonesia’s automotive community.

Beyond highlighting the vehicle’s appearance, the project also told the story of a road trip adventure. This collaboration demonstrated how a car can serve as both a medium of self-expression and a companion for adventure.

In addition to this project, Belkote’s display area featured a variety of vehicles with distinct characters, including Aldi Taher’s Mercedes-Benz W202, Arif Muhammad’s Toyota Avanza, Muklay’s Honda Freed, Tasa’s Honda Civic Genio, Josh’s Toyota Crown, Jeje Logy’s Ford Ranger Raptor, as well as Dipo’s Lamborghini and Super Kecowagon.

This diversity demonstrated that automotive creativity is not limited to a particular type of vehicle or modification style. Color and finishing play an essential role in strengthening the identity of each creation.

Battle of Mixing: Recognizing the Skills of Indonesian Painters

Behind every eye-catching modified vehicle are the skills of automotive painters, who play an important role in achieving high-quality colors and finishes. To recognize their expertise, Belkote presented Battle of Mixing, a competition bringing together selected painters from various regions across Indonesia.

Participants were challenged to demonstrate their color-mixing abilities, with an emphasis on accuracy, precision, speed, and an understanding of automotive color characteristics.

More than just a competition, Battle of Mixing provided a platform for automotive refinishing professionals to showcase their expertise. Achieving the right color requires experience, technical knowledge, and attention to detail that are not always visible in the final result.

Through this competition, Belkote emphasized that painting quality is determined not only by the products used but also by the skills of the people applying them.
